115-1 CMU and NCHU Jointly Host Inter-University EMI TA Workshops

為持續提升大專校院全英語授課教學助理（EMI TA）之專業知能，中國醫藥大學與國立中興大學於本學期共同舉辦兩場「115-1 跨校 EMI TA 增能全英工作坊」，吸引眾多學生踴躍參與。

第一場工作坊邀請朝陽科技大學應用英語系徐碧霙副教授主講「EMI TA 教學準備與英語溝通表達」。徐老師以極具感染力的熱情帶領學員，將複雜的英語溝通與教學準備技巧以淺顯易懂的方式拆解，參與學員紛紛給予高度好評，直呼「極具啟發性且生動有趣，讓學習變得極具意義」。

第二場工作坊則由國立中正大學語言中心張文俐助理教授接棒，帶來「AI 賦能的 EMI 課堂：活用數位工具活化學習投入迴圈」。張老師深入淺出地介紹多款可融入課堂的 AI 與數位工具，幫助 TA 掌握激發學生學習投入的關鍵。學員表示課堂內容清晰易懂，大幅拓展了 AI 在課堂應用的實務管道。

雙語中心期許，這兩場工作坊所傳授的專業技巧能成為每位學員帶得走的寶貴資產，得以直接應用於日常課堂的輔助教學中，切實發揮教學助理的影響力。

To enhance the professional pedagogical skills of EMI TA, CMU and NCHU co-hosted two sessions of the "115-1 Inter-University EMI TA Empowerment Workshops."

The first workshop, titled "Build Your EMI TA CARE Kit," was delivered by Associate Professor Pi-Ying Hsu from the Department of Applied English at CYUT. With great passion and energy, Dr. Hsu broke down complex topics surrounding teaching preparation and English communication into clear, intuitive concepts. Participating TAs praised the session as deeply engaging and inspiring, noting that her approach made learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

The second workshop featured Assistant Professor Wen-Li Chang from the Language Center at NCU, presenting "AI-Powered EMI Classrooms: Engaging Students Through Digital Tool Loops." Dr. Chang presented clear, actionable methods for integrating digital tools and AI into classrooms to build active student engagement loops. Attendees highlighted that the content was highly accessible and equipped them with invaluable AI avenues for future teaching.

It is expected that the practical skills and insights gained from both workshops will serve as takeaways for all participants, allowing them to apply these learnings directly to enhance their instructional support in future EMI classrooms.
